The Illinois Migrant Council is a  partner with the following  Local Workforce Investment Boards (LWIB)of the twenty-six Workforce Investment Areas (WIA)  in Illinois.

The IMC Executive Director or other IMC representative is a member of each of these LWIBs.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) describes the collaborative role of IMC and other partners in the local area workforce development system with the Illinois workNet Centers (formerly Illinois Employment and Training Center -IETC).
