IMC  Regions  &  LWIB partnerships

The Illinois Migrant Council is a  partner with the following  Local Workforce Investment Boards (LWIB)of the twenty-six Workforce Investment Areas (WIA)  in Illinois.  For a correlation of the Illilnois counties served by IMC Region service areas and by Workforce Investment Areas, see counties. The IMC Executive Director, Regional Director or other IMC representative is a member of each of these LWIBs.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) describes partner roles in the local area workforce development system, including the One Stop Career Center or Illinois Employment and Training Center (IETC).
