Crowding and Housing Cost Burden
35 percent of the units were crowded (21 units), having an average of more than one person per room.  Among crowded units, more than 57 percent had children present (12 units).  Half of all units where children lived were crowded.  For the state, 37 percent of units were crowded, and 63.5 percent of crowded units had children present.
For Illinois, 19 percent of the households had housing cost burden, paying more than 30 percent of their income for housing costs.For the IMC Northern Region, 27 percent of households were cost-burdened (16 units).  Almost 69 percent of cost-burdened households had children present  (11 units).
Housing Quality
All units in the Woodstock area had working stoves, refrigerators, bath tub/showers, and toilets.  54.1 percent of units lacked access to laundry machines, and 49.2 lacked access to telephones (lacking access means not present in the unit or available onsite).
28.3 percent of the units were adjacent to fields where pesticides are applied.
